Welcome to YakkaFIT! I’m Cortni! I’m SO glad you’re visiting my baby blog. I am a food and fitness addict. However, I am trying be much more responsible with what I eat and ultimately what I am fueling my body with. I wanted a way to be held more responsible for a healthier lifestyle. I created this blog as a way to share healthy, unprocessed, alternatives to popular recipes and tough workouts that will whoop your butt! And..the only way I can have those things to share is if I am eating healthy unprocessed foods, and accomplishing whoop-your-butt workouts myself (accountability! check.)  I also want to expose the unhealthy shortcuts taken by the food industry in many of the foods we eat. I am always searching for easy ways to eat real foods (with only ingredients I can pronounce).

I just graduated with a BS in Biology, minor in Marine Biology,  now I am studying to be a personal trainer. I am a gymnast, crossfitter, puppy-loving, recipe-experimenting,  New Yorker. I love the ocean, summertime, scuba diving, back flipping, and jumping on trampolines! I am trying to figure out what to do with my life at the moment, as I enter the “real world” and thought this is a great way to have a creative outlet!
